Employee Handbook
Schultes Precision Manufacturing, Inc.
Attendance Policy
If you know ahead of time that you will be absent or late, provide reasonable advance notice to your supervisor. Employees may be required to provide documentation of any medical or other excuse for being absent or late. The Company reserves the right to apply unused vacation, sick time, or other paid time off to unauthorized absences. Absences resulting from approved leave, vacation, or legal requirements are exceptions to the policy (see Attendance Policy-SPM).
Schultes expects all employees to be present and prepared to work a complete schedule on their scheduled workdays. Consistent patterns of absenteeism and/or tardiness, regardless of cause, with or without notification, result in a loss of productivity and will be addressed.
Incidental, Personal Time-off
Employee must have pre-approval from a supervisor. Unapproved, unpaid time will be considered an unauthorized absence.
Repeatable, Patterned Absences
Absenteeism, when not protected by law, which results in a repeatable pattern over time and/or such that it negatively impacts the business will be reviewed with Human Resources and may be grounds for performance management, even if the time away was initially authorized.
Notification Requirements
Planned time off requires advance notice.
