Benefits
Regular Full-Time Employees
A regular full-time employee is an employee who has completed his or her introductory period of 60 days and is regularly scheduled to work in excess of 30 hours per week. Unless stated otherwise, all the benefits provided to employees are for regular full-time employees only. This includes vacation, holiday pay, health insurance, and other benefits coverage.
Regular Part-Time Employees
Any employee who works less than 30 hours per week is considered a part-time employee. Part-time employees are not eligible for Company benefits unless specified otherwise in this handbook or in the benefit plan summaries.
Temporary Employees
Temporary employees are hired for a specific period or specific work project, not to exceed 2 months in duration. The Company reserves the right to extend the duration of temporary employment where necessary. Temporary employees are not eligible for employee benefits unless specified otherwise in this handbook or in the benefit plan summaries.
Exempt Employees
If you are classified as an exempt employee at the time of your hiring, you are not eligible for overtime pay as otherwise required by federal, state, or local laws. If you have a question regarding whether you are an exempt or nonexempt employee, contact your supervisor or Human Resources for clarification.
