Schultes Precision Manufacturing, Inc.
At-Will Employment
Your employment with SPM is on an "at-will" basis. This means your employment may be terminated at any time, with or without notice and with or without cause. Likewise, we respect your right to leave the company at any time, with or without notice and with or without cause.
Nothing in the employee handbook or any other Company document should be understood as creating guaranteed or continued employment, a right to termination only "for cause," or of any other guarantee of continued benefits or employment. Only the President or the Director of Human Resources have the authority to make promises or negotiate with regard to guaranteed or continued employment, and any such promises are only effective if placed in writing and signed by the President or the Director of Human Resources.
Versions of Handbooks
There are two (2) different versions of the SPM Employee Handbook within the company. (This particular version is a consolidation of the two) Those versions are as follows:
1. TheShopEmployeeHandbook 2. TheOfficeEmployeeHandbook
The Shop Employee Handbook
The Shop Employee Handbook is designed with the collective best interests of all Shop personnel. Those are employees that spend the majority of their workday within the Work Station The Shop, more than 50% of their scheduled time. The higher safety risks associated with machinery, unique employee instructions and more production-based guides contained in The Shop gave way to The Shop Employee Handbook. All Shop Employees must still understand and abide by The Office Employee Handbook when performing job functions within The Office environment.
The Office Employee Handbook
The Office Employee Handbook is designed with the collective best interests of all of the Office personnel. Those are employees that spend the majority of their workday within the Work Station The Office, more than 50% of their scheduled time. Office personnel have a particular dress code, an ergonomically concerned work environment and more technology based work functions contained in The Office that dictated The Office Employee Handbook. The Office Employees must abide by all regulations set forth in The Shop Employee Handbook and must know all additional safety guidelines prior to entering The Shop to perform their job function.
